FIRST, WHAT WE’RE NOT CLAIMING

Planning Center’s worship planning is built on things we do not have: a song library an item links to, arrangements and keys, CCLI reporting, and the Music Stand add-on. Its volunteer scheduling is the single deepest thing in their product, and a two-person team would not match it in a year. Their People database is free for everyone, with unlimited people, lists, workflows and forms. If Sunday services are your whole world, stay put; you’re well served.

But the event side is where it strains: the live controller has two verbs, no item can be pinned to a clock time, and a plan that runs long never says so. That’s the side we built.

Every Planning Center claim above was checked against Planning Center’s own product and its own documentation on 15 September 2026. Where their product changes, this table is wrong until we check it again.
